Funny Talk

Now that Cayden is four, he really should be saying things better. He has a lisp and still says things so cute. I really have a hard time correcting him. This week I have tried to write down the cute things he said.

1. "Mom, she's making me a heyick(headache)!" said when Kayla was crying in the car.

2. I think I will wear my flick focks not running shoes today.

3. Look Mom it is Space Timps salad ( the salad bag had a picture of space chimps on it).

4. "But he is my friend, he needs to do this!" After I tod him he could not tackle his friend to the ground and hold on to him.

5. "Mommy, I need to go play with copper, he needs me."

The begining

Hello there family and friends. I was thinking that since I am not quite busy enough I would start a blog. Actually, I thought this would help all of us keep in better touch since I am not the best at calling or emailing regularly.

So, for you that do not know, I am the wife to my most wonderful husband, Blaine and the mother of 4, three wonderful boys, Joshua 13, Jared 11, Cayden 4, and a beautiful baby girl Kayla 2 months. I am a nurse up at the University of Utah on th mom and baby floor. I love my job both as a nurse and a mother. In my spare time (not that there is much of it these days), I like to read, scrapbook, and take pictures of my family.

The most recent goings on in our family are as follows:

1. Forth of July was spent in Parawon with my family. Cayden, Kayla and I were the only ones to go. We had a blast spending time with family that we had not seen since Christmas. We set off fireworks in front of the house and the kids played outside in the cool weather and rode 4 wheelers.

2. Kayla turned 8 weeks old. She is smiling frequently, focusing on things, sleeping through the night (she really has been doing this since 3 1/2 weeks old),and losing her hair. We are so happy she came to complete our family.

3. Josh and Jared left for their dad's house for 6 weeks. We really miss them. Although it is really nice not to hear fighting and arguing for a while.

4. Blaine started a new job driving for DATS Trucking at night. We were really worried about daycare with our two youngest and now he works weeknights and I will work weekend days so this eliminates daycare for now. HUGE savings of $900 a month.
